Infosys partners with Purdue to train its expected 10,000 new employees

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University is entering into a five-year agreement with India-based Infosys to train the company's new employees and conduct joint research, the school announced Thursday.

The partnership comes after Infosys announced in May that it would open a technology hub in Indianapolis for up to 2,000 new employees. As part of the deal, Infosys could receive up to $31 million in conditional tax credits and training grants, the largest incentive package in state history.
